We are not selling the merchandise ourselves, neither are we interested in making a profit thereof. We are only interested in rapidly promoting the cause and we therefore request you to buy the T-shirts for you and your entire family and walk at Shivaji Park (or at various places) to further promote the cause. The exponential exposure generated out of such on-field promotion will make the government sit-up and take notice and obviously get on with it.
We are committed to the cause and we reiterate that we are not interested in profits. You can check out the same independently from the T-shirt vendor's website that our rates are same as what their rates otherwise are. Shipping charges of Rs.50/- per T-shirt is included in the price.
Dear Dadarkar,
We, at Team Save Dadar, had approached the BMC for a proper license to publish the Proposed Plan on a Flex Banner and display it at a prominent place somewhere around Shivaji Park. But they simply refused to grant us such a license even when we were willing to pay for it. They simply said that such banners whether paid for or otherwise are simply banned by the High Court. When questioned as to how are from the “Vadhadivasachya Hardik Shubhechha’ right up to “Vinamra Abhivadan” and of course everything in between gets allowed, the officer curtly replied something to the effect of “Do not teach us our job!”.
Since we are not allowed to publish the Proposed Plan we request the Dadarkars to buy the merchandise available herein below and wear the same while walking at Shivaji Park.
A passionate plea:
Dear Shivaji Park/Dadar residents & Shopowners,
If you support our cause we request you to kindly take an A3 size color print of the Support Us Poster
and hang it outside (only if you are living in and around Dadar.) Shopowners, please understand, that the Dadar shops in the face of a stiff competition from the malls are not doing that great, primaraly on account of not being able to offer a parking to the shoppers. Vehicular traffic which uses Dadar as a thouroughfare to crossover to the East results in shoppers not getting a parking space. This has resulted in shoppers shunning Dadar. With this master plan Dadar's traffic jams will be gone forever helping the real shoppers return back to Dadar. We therefore request the Shopowners of Dadar to place a "I support" A3 size (possibly laminated) colour print on the back of their shop's cash counters in support of the cause. This display will give the site and therefore the cause a maximum visibility.
We also request the earstwhile Landlords of Shivaji Park to similarly print a 5X3 feet sized Flex
and hang it on their buildings. This way, we think, that our site will get great visibility.
